"An Unbiased Perspective on the Energy Industry"

Previous Cohorts

In 2007 the first cohort of ten ENI students produced a final report entitled “Ireland’s Energy Future” which was launched in Sept 2007 by Eamon Ryan, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. The report was their response to the Government’s White Paper on Energy and was received extremely well by both industry and government. The students made additional presentations at events run by The Royal Irish Academy and Engineers Ireland in 2007. On 17th and 18th April 2008 the group were invited to deliver their report at the Engineers Ireland annual conference in Limerick and, following nomination for award, were presented with medals of distinction for outstanding upcoming engineers.
